Sorry, it’s been a while since a stable version of WPFront User Role Editor is released. It’s only because we completely rewrote the plugin to give more flexibility and performance. With this added flexibility, we were able to create new functionalities and expand existing functionalities.

If you helped us to do beta testing, Thank You, your help was invaluable and we were able to find some major bugs.

Today, we are releasing an RC version of WPFront User Role Editor Pro plugins. You will be able to download the plugin from your purchase history. If you are already running a beta version, you will see an update on your “Plugins” page. Please help us in testing the RC versions.

v3.0 comes with major functionality changes and also it adds a lot of new features.

Multiple new user default roles.
Denied capabilities.
Post types and Taxonomies customizations.
New menu editor UI.
Advanced extended permissions.
User post permissions.
Create and read others capabilities.

We have also enabled subscription based renewals, if you don’t have an active subscription, please renew your license key to create a subscription. A subscription allows you to lock the renewal pricing. Hurry, because there will be a price increase very soon.

WPFront User Role Editor is back in WordPress.org Plugin Directory after the temporary withdrawal. WordPress has accepted the fix I committed and re-enabled the plugin. Please continue using the plugin as usual and update it to the latest version as soon as you get a chance.

WPFront User Role Editor is temporarily withdrawn from the plugin directory by WordPress because of a security vulnerability. It will be added back to the directory once a fix is committed and the plugin is undergone for a complete review by the WordPress team. I have already committed the fix, now waiting for the review to be finished, which could take up to 5 business days.

This vulnerability affects multisite installations. I’m not publishing the details of this vulnerability to protect the users of this plugin. If anyone wants to download the plugin until it is re-enabled in WordPress.org Plugin Directory, please use the following link. This version contains the fix, which is submitted to WordPress.
