I am trying to set up a Multisite role called ab_members. When a user first registers an account and a site on our network they are assigned the ab_members role.

The role is based on administrator and we’d like to use this plugin to restrict access to the TOOLS —-> Domain Mapping sub menu.

2 questions:

1. How do I set things up to ensure that domain mapping is not accessible on the TOOLS menu when ‘Domain Mapping’ is not listed on the network settings menu manager?

2. How do I set up multisite so that ROLES is not activated for use on the subsites? At the moment when I network activate the plugin it appears on all sub-sites.

Thanks for your help!
Ian

At the moment it seems only to sync role settings. Is that correct?

I don’t think I understand your first question. Where do you see the “Domain Mapping” menu? Within the network admin or on individual site admin?

You can remove Roles capabilities and Roles won’t appear.

Syncing menus is difficult, because each site can have it’s own menu setup and at this point there is no way to figure it out from the network admin.

Thanks

Syam
