Hi Syam,
We’ve been using your plugin for almost a year now and have really enjoyed it, thanks for your hard work!
We recently had a client ask that we create several roles that limit capabilities to editing only one category within a custom post type. For example, we have custom post type ‘properties’ with the categories taxonomy. Each category is a different city, Dallas, for example. The client would like to have a Dallas role where users can only edit properties that have the Dallas category selected.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Douglas
Hi Douglas,
Thank you for the feedback. Glad to know that you find this plugin helpful.
Permissions against a category/taxonomy is not there yet. But here is what your client will be able to do. Within ‘Bulk Edit’ they will be able to select posts under a specific category and set the permissions together. Hope this will help your client.
Thanks
Syam
