Hi,
I’m under a multisite environment. In one domain, I need to grant access just to a couple of sections in the admin menu: to manage users and to manage one plugin. I installed and tested the free version of your plugin and it seemed to fit our requirements. As I needed it for just a domain, I bought the personal version. It installed ok, and seemed to work fine. But I’m not able to even add a new role, to use it to grant access to the sections needed. When I add the new role with its permissions, it just jumps to the roles list page, no errors, but no new role is created. In fact, if I add new capabilities to existing roles, I cannot see them as well in the role profile.
I then thought this could be a problem of multisite, so I uninstalled the personal version and bought a license for the bussiness version. Same results.
I need advice on how to proceed, don’t know what to do next.
Thanks and regards,
Hi Luis,
Sorry about the confusion. But both plugins works the same way. So if one doesn’t work, then the other one doesn’t work either.
This is the first time someone reporting this issue. The only reasons I can think of are caching issue or a DB write permission issue.
Do you have a caching plugin installed? Also do you see any errors in your debug.log file?
Thanks
Syam
Hi,
No, no there’s no cache plugin. But I also think this could be a conflict with another plugin or something like that.
I’ve managed to solve my problem (not the issue) uninstalling and removing this plugin and using another one.
Thanks a lot anyway.
Luis.
Hi Luis,
Sad to see you leaving. I have issued your refunds as requested.
Thanks
