Is there a way to disable the admin bar while allowing access to a particular plugin/dashboard?

Or at least to disable the “+New” menu in the admin bar?

Hi David,

You will be able to disable the Admin Bar using the Login Redirect feature.

Login Redirect

If you want to remove just an item under the ‘+New’ option, you just need to remove the corresponding capability from the role. For example to remove ‘Post’ option, you need to remove capability ‘edit_posts’. Hope this helps.
