Can't override some options in menu editor

I’m using version 2.12.5 and added a custom role with the edit_theme_options enabled. In the menu editor, I unchecked the header, background, and themes options under Appearance and saved with a hard override but a user with that role can still go to those pages and edit content. Is there anything I might be missing?

Hi Douglas,

There seems to a bug associated with those menu options. It started happening after the new theme customization layout. I’ll have a fix for it within the next version.

It will take another week before I can create a deployment package, since there are a few other issues remaining. But I have the menu editor issue fixed. Would you like me to send you an intermediate ZIP file until then?
