Tagged: delete users backend
Good morning,
I’ve added an editor to my user roles. The editor shouldn’t be allowed to delete other users, but as soon as I remove the option the editor has no access to the backend anymore. I would prefer to disable the entire user administration for editors. How can I configure it so that the editor still has access to the backend (for example, to create posts)?
The menu item Users is currently set as follows:
(set) list_users
(set) create_users
() edit_users
(set) delete_users – triggers the problem
(set) promote_users
(set) add_users
() remove_users
() edit_users_higher_level
() delete_users_higher_level
() promote_users_higher_level
() promote_users_to_higher_level
Hi Janine,
I’m very sorry for a late response. Somehow I didn’t receive a notification when this thread was created. So I was not aware of it.
About your issue, it shouldn’t be happening based on your settings. Is it possible for you to disable all plugins and test, to see if its an issue with a plugin?
Sorry again,
Syam
