    Hi Volker,

Sorry about that. But that is a generic error message and doesn’t tell us what the actual issue is. Do you have debug.log enabled, if so can you take a look into it and see whether it contains any information?

    Thanks

I have changed the server settings for testing purposes.

Nginx with HHVM Version 3.29.1 -> Error
    to
Nginx with PHP Version 7.2.1 -> Works

    Hi Ben,

Your’s seems to be a different issue. I’ll take a look into that, meanwhile can you open a new thread, because you won’t be able to read my private messages here, only the thread owner has access to it and Volker will be able to read your private messages because he is the thread Owner.

    Thanks

The file “advanced-cache.php” does not exist. You can’t download it anywhere. There are several instructions on the internet, but they don’t work.

    Tested with WP4.9.9 and 5.0.1

The plugin works with PHP 7.2.1, not with HHVM 3.29.1.

    Hi Volker,

This sounds like a configuration issue. Do you get the same error if you try to activate a different plugin?

“advanced-cache.php” is not a file associated with this plugin. Its usually created by caching plugins. Do you have any caching plugin in your site?

    Thanks

Yes, I’ve been running the Cache Plugin for several years.

I deactivated all plugins and then only activated the “WPFront User Role Editor Personal Pro”.

Same scenario: The plugin cannot be activated because it generates a fatal error.

The plugin is not activated !

In addition, the following database entries have been deleted so that they can be recreated.

    gpc666_wpfront_ure_content_shortcodes
    gpc666_wpfront_ure_login_redirect
    gpc666_wpfront_ure_menu_editor
    gpc666_wpfront_ure_options
    gpc666_wpfront_ure_post_type_permissions

Ich habe soeben ein neues WordPress 4.9.9 installiert und das “WPFront User Role Editor Personal Pro” als einziges Plugins installiert.

Same scenario: The plugin cannot be activated because it generates a fatal error.

The plugin is not activated !

The same problem in WordPress 5.0.2

    Hi Volker,

Did you mean that you deleted those tables manually and is expecting the plugin to recreate those tables? If you are, then it doesn’t work that way and this could be the issue.

    Thanks
