It looks like I may be having the same issue as this person…

I have created a very specific role which can access only one custom post type. However The Event Calendar sidebar menu is visible when a user with this role is logged into the control panel.

As it is suggested in that thread, have you tried excluding the ‘events’ post type?

Yes, I have just tried this. It’s still broken. It seems clear your plugin is incompatible with The Event Calendar which the site widely uses. If you’re unable to offer a clear solution for this issue then would it be possible to get my money back as I purchased the plugin on a trial basis.
