    Hello,
I want to disallow reading and searching my CPT posts and archives pages for a specific user role (subscriber).
How should I do that ?
    Thank you !

    Hi Roman,

Can you try the following functionality(Posts/Pages Extended Permissions)?

    Posts/Pages Extended Permissions

    Thanks

    Hello and thank you,
It worked great for the page, and also for the posts thanksq to the bulk edit.
Nevertheless, I now have two problems :
    1- How can I set that up on the archive pages (which don’t have back-end since they are not “real” pages) ;
2- How can I set that up for all future posts, instead of having to set it for each one of them ?
    Thank you very much !

    Hi Roman,

    1. How do you mark the page as an archived page?
    2. This is not possible at this moment. Its in my to-do feature list. However you will be able to update multiple posts at the same time using bulk edit functionality.

    Thanks

    Hello and thank you,
    1. I really don’t know about that : it’s an automaticaly created archive for a custom post type created threw CPT UI plugin.
    2. Since I really deeply need this functionnality, could you please at least help me with a hook or function I could insert somewhere in order to set the “[Guest]” checkboxes not checked by default when creating new post ?
    Thank you very much !

    Hi Roman,

    1. If this CPT plugin is using custom functions to retrieve data from DB, then extended permissions won’t work, since it works based on WordPress standard actions and filters.

    2. I’ll check the feasibility of this and let you know.

    Thanks

    Syam
