I need to restrict menu access to certain roles. I can do this in Appearance > Roles then select Restrictions for User by role. But when I do this, the menu item disappears. How can I make it so if the user is restricted, the menu item still displays, but is no longer a link?

    Hi Nathan,

Menu editor uses WordPress APIs to remove menu items. It doesn’t directly remove the links from the menu. Its not possible to leave the menu item in the menu without a link at this moment using this plugin.

    Thanks

    Syam
