I am using the Pro version of this plugin to manage a large number of users. However, when using secondary roles I am getting unexpected results.
Here is what I am trying to do:

1 – Primary Publisher Role. This role would essentially only be used to give the user access to a certain custom post type on the site. It could be given to multiple users, as they would all share similar access.

2 – Using a number of secondary roles in combination with the primary role, I would want to give certain users access to different custom post types. So, all the secondary roles would have access to a specific area of the site, and applying a secondary role to a user with the primary access should give them control over two sections of the site.

I am trying to use the menu editor in conjunction with this to limit who sees what. The problem is that when I assign a primary role and multiple secondary roles with access to different custom post types, all of the options in the user’s menu disappear.

Is there a way to add capabilities in this way? Should I stop using the menu editor? Thanks.
