Hi. I noticed that on my local dev site I cannot use the plugin when it is unlicensed, at all! This is actually the first time I’ve come across this. Like all other premium plugins your terms state 1 license provides updates and support for 1 site, but it doesn’t say the plugin won’t even run without an active license. Is there a solution to this?
I am (currently) trying to use it for a single site but up to 5 developers are working on it and there’s a staging environment. That means I would need 7 licenses for this 1 site. With any other premium plugin (WPML, Gravity Forms, ACF, BackupBuddy..) 1 is enough for it to work, but only the production site will get updates.
Looking forward to your reply.
Hi Randolph,
There are commonly two ways to do the licensing system. One is what you described and other is the way this plugin works. For this plugin to work you need a license key. This plugin offers a 30 days money back guarantee with no questions asked. Not all the plugins does that. So it all depends upon the policy (main concern being digitally delivered products are non-tangible).
If you are/has a developer, you are supposed to get a Developer license. But WPFront usually do not enforce that. You can get more information from the FAQ page on that.
Support and updates are for one year. But the license key/plugin will continue to work even after expiration.
Thanks
