    It’s very odd.

I’m noticing another issue (when using in Multisite). Not showing in new sites.

When I create a new site .. a couple odd things are happening.

    1. The plugin, even though I have it Network Activated .. it doesn’t seem to be activated on the child site , and therefore I need to activate it on each child site as I create them .. in order to have the roles show up.

    2. Even after I activate the plugin on the child site, the ROLE that I originally created with special permissions, isn’t showing up under the User’s permission choice list.

In order for me to get the new ROLE to show up in the new site, I have to delete the role from the WP User Role Editor plugin and then .. recreate it .. and then .. it shows up.

    Any advice?

A plugin cannot activate itself. When you activate in network admin, its suppose to be active in all child sites and the child site cannot deactivate it. This could be conflict again as you mentioned in a different topic.

Based on my understanding from what you said, that is normal behavior. When you create a new site, you will only have the default roles, not all the roles you created from network admin. You can sync the roles using Sync functionality.

    Thanks

Answer: Okay. Thanks for confirming this.

Answer: Okay. Glad you confirmed this for me. I understand.
