Hi,
I’m creating a role for someone who wants to create users. I don’t want them to be able to create or assign Administrator roles, but I would like them to be able to create other roles such as editor or subscriber. I create an “Admin” role with everything checked except for edit users higher level, delete users higher level, promote users higher level and promote users to higher level. Now the “Admin” role is only able to assign the “Admin” role to new users. No other WordPress roles are available below the Administrator level.
Is there a way to accomplish this?
Thank you!
Hi Keelan,
You also need to configure the ‘level_’ capabilities for it to work properly. Please take a look at the documentation.
If it still doesn’t make sense, please let me know.
Thanks
