It is in a very early stage and sorry, can’t provide an ETA now.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Michael,
This feature is not there at this moment. This functionality is undergoing a complete rewrite so that more advanced features can be implemented. The default permissions functionality will be there after that.
Thanks

Is there any chance that your database is read-only? Also do you see anything logged at your debug.log file?
Thanks

May 9, 2017 at 10:10 pm in reply to: Configure specific user's posts to only publish to specific users roles? #51264Syam MohanKeymasterHi David,
Sorry, that functionality is not there right now. As an Administrator you will be able to bulk edit permissions. But you can only do it after creating the post.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHello,
Sorry, when you said “if so we are not using it”, I thought you are referring to ‘Admin Menu Editor’ functionality not the plugin.
Now that I understand that you are not using(deactivated) the plugin, it cannot alter/change your menu configuration. Menus work in WordPress based on the capabilities the logged in user has. You just need to make sure that, the logged in user has all the capabilities the menu is looking for. It doesn’t matter whether it comes from a single role or multiple roles.
For example ‘Posts’ uses ‘edit_posts’ capability.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHello,
If you deactivate this plugin does it fix the issue?

April 27, 2017 at 10:08 pm in reply to: Limit role capabilities based on custom post type category #50609Syam MohanKeymasterHi Douglas,
Thank you for the feedback. Glad to know that you find this plugin helpful.
Permissions against a category/taxonomy is not there yet. But here is what your client will be able to do. Within ‘Bulk Edit’ they will be able to select posts under a specific category and set the permissions together. Hope this will help your client.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Giusy,
I don’t know what DIVI is.
If you use the shortcode in a normal post/page does it work? The place where you are trying to use this shortcode in DIVI, does it support shortcode? You might want to check with the author about that. May be it doesn’t support shortcode there.
Thanks

Sorry about that. I checked the status of your license key and it is marked as ‘revoked’. Its because your payment was automatically refunded by the payment gateway, since it found that transaction as ‘fraudulent’. You should have received an email from them. Can you please purchase again? Try using ‘PayPal’ as the payment gateway or a different card. Please let me know if you need any assistance.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHello,
You don’t have the PRO version installed within the site you send me. This functionality works only in the PRO version.
Thanks

April 7, 2017 at 10:30 pm in reply to: How to enable enable role permission menu for other role #49516Syam MohanKeymasterHi Suharyadi,
You need to enable the ‘edit_posts_role_permissions’ capability. For pages it will be ‘edit_pages_role_permissions’. These are under the ‘Roles’ group.
Please take a look at the documentation.
Thanks
