Syam MohanKeymasterHi Nik,
Are you facing this issue when you access these events from a non-author user?
Thanks,

When a plugin introduces a capability, it is that plugin’s responsibility to set to all the roles.
User role editor won’t do this, because it will slow down your site, if it tries to do this on every page load.
You have two options.
1. Do a restore on the “Administrator” role. User role editor will try to find all the capabilities in your system and attach it to the Administrator role.
2. Use the “Add/Remove Cap” functionality. This will allow your to add any capability to any role.
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHi Andres,
You don’t see changelog when there is an update?
= 3.2.0 =
* Extended Permissions Precedence option.
* Login page URL option.
* Compatibility fixes.Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHello,
We couldn’t reproduce the 404 plugin conflicts. Do you have the notices generated?
Thanks
Syam MohanKeymasterHi Andres,
Now I understand what you mean. The reason that column was removed is, extended permissions now doesn’t have an enabled/disabled status. But we can still add a column with the three states.
Do you think that will work?
Thanks
Syam MohanKeymasterSorry, I don’t understand what you meant in the first section.
I’ll test with the 404 plugin.
Thanks
Syam MohanKeymasterCan you please read the documentation?
Thanks
November 5, 2021 at 10:45 am in reply to: Since Update, Secondary Roles are Conflicting / Over-riding Primary Role #123677Syam MohanKeymasterHi David,
Glad to know that its working fine.
v3 doesn’t remove existing permissions. But it adds a few more permissions. There is logic to set these new permissions based on the existing permissions. But there were reports that these permissions are not calculating correctly. I have made a few changes in the latest version. Hopefully that will fix this issue.
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHi John,
Sorry about the issues.
Please upgrade to version 3.2.0-RC1. After that make sure that,
1. All “read_others_” capabilities is checked/enabled for all roles.
2. “Extended Permissions Precedence Type” under “Roles > Settings” is set to “Allow”.After these steps everything will work fine.
Please read the following documentation.
https://docs.wpfront.com/tag/extended-permissions/
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterCan you please share a screenshot of the issue you are referring to?
Thanks
Syam MohanKeymasterThe fix was – enable all “read_others_” capabilities in all roles.
Thanks

Please update to version 3.2.0-RC1, then set the “Extended Permissions Precedence Type” to “Allow” in “Settings” page.

SyamSyam MohanKeymasterTo fix this issue, please upgrade to at least version 3.2.0-RC1, then change “Extended Permissions Precedence Type” to “Allow” under “Roles > Settings”.
