Sorry, extended permissions can only take away permission. It cannot grant permission.
Granting permission is something I have in my to do list. I don’t know whether it is feasible. If its possible it will be implemented.
You will be able to use the Bulk Edit functionality to edit extended permissions together for multiple posts.
Thanks

January 14, 2016 at 12:29 pm in reply to: User Scheduled a Post but it did not work, it said Missed Schedule #22191Syam MohanKeymasterHi David,
This has nothing to do with User Role Editor.
Scheduled posts are published using WordPress cron. This happened most probably because the cron did not execute on time. It could also happen because of misconfigured caching.
Check whether you have cron disabled. WP cron is invoked from user visits. So if your site do not have frequent visitors, then the cron won’t execute on time. If you are testing this on a development site, this very well could be the case.
There are some plugins out there to fix this issue. I never used it and I don’t know how effective they are.
Check out this link https://wordpress.org/tags/missed-schedule
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterThere are no known conflicts. But it very well could be existing. First thing we need to figure out is, whether its because of a conflict. You don’t have to disable plugins one by one. Disable them together and test it, to very the conflict.
Thanks
Syam MohanKeymasterHi Andrew,
Can you try editing a role after all plugins are deactivated except this one? Some plugin might be resetting your role.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterThis plugins counts the license against the home URL. Since WPML changes your home URL based on the language, your license becomes invalid. You will get more information from FAQ.
I’m working on a solution to exclude the language URLs. Next update will have this solution, ETA next week.
Until then can you add the language URLs to your allowed sites list through the purchase history. Once you update the plugin, you can remove it freeing up your licenses.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Manfred,
My tests show that, removing manage_categories disables both Categories and Tags under Posts. So the user won’t be able to edit Categories but will be able to select them while creating posts.
Thanks

Can you check your “Go Pro” page and see what the license status is? Then do a “Recheck” and try to update after that.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Manfred,
I’m not sure. I’ll take a look and let you know.

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Randolph,
There are commonly two ways to do the licensing system. One is what you described and other is the way this plugin works. For this plugin to work you need a license key. This plugin offers a 30 days money back guarantee with no questions asked. Not all the plugins does that. So it all depends upon the policy (main concern being digitally delivered products are non-tangible).
If you are/has a developer, you are supposed to get a Developer license. But WPFront usually do not enforce that. You can get more information from the FAQ page on that.
Support and updates are for one year. But the license key/plugin will continue to work even after expiration.
Thanks

Please don’t upload the code to a public repository. Doing so will violate the Terms of License.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Agusti,
This has nothing to do with the language. It all depends upon the URL. If it were the same URL, the language doesn’t make any difference.
Other plugins may be using a different method to validate the license.
If you can make the language work with the same URL, you don’t need that separate entry.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Agusti,
Sites are validated against its WordPress Site URL. Since the Catalan language version modifies your sites home URL to a virtual directory, its considered as a different site.
If you add your Catalan language version to the allowed sites list through your purchase history, that will fix the issue.
Thanks
