KeymasterHi Alan,
That looks like a premium plugin. Do they have a free version?
Thanks

KeymasterHi Alan,
Can you tell me where I can download Event Espresso, so that I can test this in my local dev site?
Thanks

KeymasterCan you try with all other plugins deactivated? To make sure this is not coming from a plugin conflict.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Miguel,
You mentioned you have a cache. Can you clear your cache after the settings, just to make sure its not a cache issue.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Bodo,
Here is my recommendation.
1. Create a content restriction shortcode for the button based on the paid user role.
https://wpfront.com/user-role-editor-pro/content-restriction-shortcodes/Ex: [paid_read_more]
2. Within your template, add this code.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Florian,
Your understanding is correct, it will overwrite everything, not individual roles. Sorry, at this point there is no other option other than you manually update each post. I’ll change the UI of bulk edit so that you will be able to select individual roles. I’ll put this on top of my to do list.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Florian,
Bulk Edit is exactly what you see on a post/page/cpt edit page. Except that instead of a single post, it allows you to update multiple posts at the same time.
Here is the documentation.

Can you use the Bulk Edit functionality to set the permissions for the new role?

KeymasterHi Alessandro,
Please take a look here to know how to debug.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPressYou don’t have to edit in MySql to deactivate the plugin. Just rename the plugin folder within wp-content/plugins, then you will be able to access your site. If you browse to the Plugins page, this plugin will be deactivated automatically. Then you can rename it back.
Thanks
