Hi Jack,

Thanks for the information.

Since the CPU usage is by mysql, it must be a query. Can you install a query monitor plugin on your site? That will tell you the expensive queries.

Hi Jack,

I need some more information to get a clear picture.

1. Is this a WordPress multisite?
2. When are you seeing the CPU hike?
3. Is it a CPU spike or constant usage?
4. Your screenshot says mysql uses most CPU. Can you verify the process?
5. Do you have any caching enabled(object or DB)?
6. Can you try with all plugins deactivated except the WPFront User Role Editor?

Yes, its in my to do list. I haven’t tested the feasibility of this functionality, so I don’t know how much customization is even possible. I don’t have an ETA on it.

wpfront.com uses HTTPS, so its port 443. I would also recommend enabling port 80 for HTTP.

Hi Chris,

WordPress core will be pinging wpfront.com to check for updates to the plugin. How often it happens depends on when the site transients clears. Since it can’t connect to wpfront.com, that request will be delayed. It could be the reason.
