I’m very sorry for a late response. Somehow I didn’t receive a notification when this thread was created. So I was not aware of it.
About your issue, it shouldn’t be happening based on your settings. Is it possible for you to disable all plugins and test, to see if its an issue with a plugin?

Right now, the only way to remove permissions is by going into Bulk Edit and remove that roles access. Bulk edit will easily allow you to remove the permissions using the ‘Single Role’ option.

This has nothing to do with this plugin. Visual Composer seems to have its own role permission settings. Please take a look there(second menu item under ‘Visual Composer’). I have no experience with Visual Composer, so I don’t know what each setting is for, I’m sure their documentation will help you.
I have created a ‘Test’ role and enabled Visual Composer for that role. ‘EUREKA.AIX’ is now assigned to that role.
