Hi Antony,
Is it possible for you to ask the developer of Revolution Slider, which capability is required to edit the slides?
Thanks

Can you give me access to your site?
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Jody,
So I tested with the “AG Custom Admin” plugin, but it still worked fine. I guess it’s something specific to your setup.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Jody,
Can you give me the name of that plugin, I’ll take a look.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Nick,
I thought about that, then decided to not release the code into a public repository.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Jody,
You will be able to restrict the events using Role Permissions. Try to edit an event and you will be able to see the check boxes.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Jody,
I tested with that plugin installed and I was able to see events on the calendar. User was in Subscriber role. Also tested with a custom role with no capability.
The only way I was able to remove the event from the calendar was using Role Permissions (Extended Permissions).
Do you have Role Permissions enabled?
Thanks
Syam
Syam MohanKeymasterHi Nick,
What I meant to say is make sure your pro plugin is activated within the plugins page and free plugin is deactivated. That screenshot shows the screen of the free plugin.
Thanks
Syam
Syam MohanKeymasterHi Nick,
Can you make sure the PRO plugin is activated and the free version is deactivated.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Nathan,
Menu editor uses WordPress APIs to remove menu items. It doesn’t directly remove the links from the menu. Its not possible to leave the menu item in the menu without a link at this moment using this plugin.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Mitch,
Usually this is handled using secondary roles. For example, Role A has capabilities A & B and has ten users in it. If you want five of those users to have capability C, you can create Role B with capability C and assign it as secondary role to those five users. So only those five users will have capability A, B and C.
Let me know whether this will fit your use case.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Jacob,
Here are the answers to your questions.
1. Yes. https://wpfront.com/user-role-editor-pro/assign-migrate-users/
2. No, those needs to be set separately.
3. There is no inheritance. You will have to set them manually. You can use Bulk Edit to set them together. Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Mat,
I’m glad that you got this figured out.
Thanks

It is hard coded within the core, there is no way to work around it. Since updating a user, updates his/her data in all sites within the network, Super Admin is required.
Thanks
