Hi Douglas,
Can you please test by giving the custom role all the capabilities? You can also give the ‘gform_full_access’ capability using the Add/Remove Cap functionality.
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHi Douglas,
Can you enable menu editor for the custom role, then try login using that custom role user. This will show you the actual capabilities used against that user. I’m assuming Gravity forms are rewriting their capabilities based on the logged in users role.
Thanks,

It looks like you do not have a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel.
All you have to do is ask your client to renew the license key using their email address. This will create a new account for them.
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHi Guido,
The best option will be to cancel your subscription if you have one, then ask your client renew the license key. This will create a new account and attach the license key to it.
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHi Jaro,
‘promote_users_to_higher_level’ capability needs the correct ‘level_’ capabilities configured for it to give you the desired results. Are you dealing with WordPress standard roles or custom roles?
Thanks,
SyamSyam MohanKeymasterHi Eric,
I don’t have any experience with most of these plugins. However they don’t sound like roles related. Sorry. I’m not sure where is it coming from.
What you could do is, create a clone of your site, then test with deactivating plugins one by one and see if it fixes your issue.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Eric,
This must be coming from a different plugin. Is there any other plugin which works with role objects?
Thanks
Syam
Syam MohanKeymasterHi Greta,
“roles” is an array, which contains all the roles.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterGlad to hear!
Thanks
Syam MohanKeymasterHi Emma,
This how WordPress core works. When a site is multisite, user should have both these capabilities.
If you were to assign it directly to that user, it would be across all sites. Since you are assigning it to a site role, it will affect only that site. Because site roles are not shared between sites.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Emma,
Whatever capabilities you are attaching to a role is only for that site. Meaning every site has their own Administrator role, they are not the same role.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterThis is low on the priority list, since there is a workaround.
I’ll try to release it as part of v3, which is a few months away I believe.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHello,
Sorry about that. That screen will be changed to a search textbox.
For now, you can also edit roles from the user profile screen. Hope this helps.
Thanks

Syam MohanKeymasterHi Bardolf,
Sorry for the delayed response.
This UI is partially done. There are a couple of major bugs reported. I’ll be revisiting this once that’s done. I’m estimating it to be ready by the end of Feb.
Thank you for your patience.
